Our focus at Cedar Dental Care is on preventative dental care, designed to help you avoid dental problems so you can achieve and maintain a healthy mouth. Regular dental health reviews are recommended in order to spot concerns early, before they progress into more complex problems.
Routine dental health reviews are usually conducted every 6 or 12 months, depending on your requirement. Your dentist will recommend an appropriate recall frequency as required to maintain your personal oral health.
During each routine dental health assessment, we’ll review:
- Signs of tartar build up and decay
- Identify any chips and cracks
- Health of gums
- Condition and functionality of any existing restorations such as fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures
- Jaw alignment and clicking
- Signs of stress and teeth grinding
- Oral cancer screening
We also recommended regular visits to our hygiene team for a thorough clean of your teeth and gums, stain removal, and oral health advise in order to support a comprehensive home care regime.
