My teeth are very difficult and need lots of work. Problems are dealt with in a highly professional way and everything is explained clearly.

I phoned first thing on Friday morning and explained that I had raging tooth ache and needed an emergency appointment, the receptionist took my details and explained that the dentist I had seen last time was no longer there and offered me an alternative, she said she would speak to that dentist when he got in and call me back. As the dentist was late coming in she called me back and booked an appointment for 7:30pm just to make sure I could be seen that day. Later she called again and said they could fit me in at 4:50pm which I accepted.

From the staff on reception being so friendly and helpful to our Dentist Rav, he is just amazing and puts our daughter at ease especially after having had a bad experience with a different dentist. Abbie is the most amazing dentist I have ever met! Like many people, I have had some very unpleasant experiences in the past. Being a child of the 70s, I had a lot of unnecessary filings and even had a dentist accidentally drill my tongue on one occasion! Abbie explained everything, gave me the power to stop if it became too much for me and introduced me to the sensations and sounds I would experience before each step of the procedure. The dentist takes an interest in all of me and not just my teeth. For eg asks about my overall health, any changes, is sensitive to changes during menopause to women, explains everything carefully and always asks how my children are doing who are his ex patients but now live away from home as adults. Dr Dundas explained the options clearly, firstly explaining what would be the best from a dental perspective, but then what’s best for the pocket - it’s appreciated that the most expensive option is not forced upon you, which is often the case in other dental practices. I cannot recommended her services any higher. 5*****To top it off the reception team are always friendly and welcoming.Rounded up, going to the dentist is never a problem

The whole environment and all the staff at Cedar Dental make me feel totally at ease. It is easy to book my appointment, attend the appointment, and check out. It is easy if I need to re-arrange my appointment too. The waiting room is comfortable and it makes the experience of visiting the dentist - which can be daunting - feel easy. Never before have I had a dentist make me feel so comfortable and in control. She explains what she sees and what she is doing and makes me feel empowered to take care of my teeth or do what I need to do to resolve any problems if they arise, which they don't tend to now as I feel so encouraged to take proper care of my oral hygiene.

All the staff whether administrative or dental are helpful and professional. When I have needed urgent dental assistance (after a fall and subsequent loss of crown) I could not speak more highly of the immediate help and support I received. I find the system of pre-booking with reminder emails very efficient and feel that due to the high standard of care I have received it has in turn motivated me to ensure I improve my dental care. I have also recommended Cedar Dental to friends (it was initially recommended to me by a friend), and my family are now all registered as patients.

The dental nurse is lovely and friendly as are the receptionists. They always try to give me an appointment that is convenient for me.
