Roy Patel qualified at the Royal Dental Hospital, Leicester Square, London and at the Royal College of Surgeons, England. He has a Master of Law degree in 'Legal Aspect of Medical Practice'. After various hospital positions, he was an academic and clinical lecturer at Royal Dental Hospital, Leicester Square and at Guys hospital, London. He is a specialist in Prosthodontics (anything artificial in the mouth - dentures, bridges, implants etc). Accredited by the G.D.C.
He currently presents academic and hands on clinical courses. He is a Specialist Doctor in Prosthodontics at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
His interests are Implants, Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry.
He belongs to the following societies: British Periodontal Society, British Endodontic Society, British Society of Prosthodontics, Association of Dental Implantology.
Outside of work he enjoys all sports. His favourites are golf, cricket, squash and tennis. He is a keen skier.
